Paintings from Jeannie McGuire Workshop
From the 5-day work shop of Jeannie McGuire at the Landgrove Inn. This one is from a reference photo from the LeRoy Club.
Three more paintings started in the Jeannie McGuire workshop. The assignment was to paint three faces in a looser style. These are from three reference photos of Martin's dad from different times in his life. The first is based on a graduation photo. The painting captures the colors of the 1950s and shows his Dad's exuberance and mischievous. The second was based on a photo from some time in the 70s and shows the strain of having to provide for three rotten punk children. The final is from a photo from a year or so ago.
